IT Project Manager

Position Summary
We are currently seeking an IT Project Manager with superior project management skills and experience to coordinate multiple projects and drive IT solutions. In this position you will not just work on one project but several concurrent projects. You will have a tremendous amount of ownership and accountability for each of these projects. You will provide overall project and resource planning, management for database development and production projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Derive business requirements from documentation, interviews and facilitated discussions with subject matter experts.
- Ensure acceptable project management practices and the proper change control of key project assets.
Rapidly learn and synthesize business and current systems and apply knowledge in developing and managing both tactical and strategic plans.
- Drive improvements to IT's internal controls
- Coordinate and lead development of internal alliances in collaboration with other managers, motivate and energize staff and build confidence in IT capabilities throughout the organization.
- Budget analysis and reports with regards to projects.
- Create and manage project plan and responsibilities associated with plan: obtaining approvals, tracking, updating and reporting
- Develop resource plan and resource allocation.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with senior management and staff as it relates to IT services and products.
Program Management
- Proven ability to maintain alignment of IT development and support activities with business objectives and priorities.
- Proven ability to plan and manage multiple, concurrent projects being performed by differing teams or individuals.
- Proven ability to lead and manage ongoing support and operations activities for web sites, servers, email, and helpdesk functions.
- Coordination and management of a team of 5-6 internal staff, outsourced staff/development efforts, and multiple service level agreement contracts.
- Proven experience in the development and management of a multi-million dollar annual IT budget to include software, equipment, software development, outsourced services, licenses, and personnel expenses.
Communication
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats across the organization; from end users to the board of directors.
- End-user training development and presentation.
- Meeting planning and facilitation skills; particularly in the capture and coordination of requirements.
- Superior ability to identify and communicate the underlying issues to be resolved with technical solutions.
- Superior ability to communicate the business impacts of technical approaches and decisions.
- Personnel Management
- 5 or more years experience in the direct supervision of IT team members.
- 3-5 years experience in IT organization development (organizational design to meet requirements and definition of job descriptions), team staffing, individual performance reviews, and professional development activities.
Technical Skills and Abilities
Broad knowledge of technical capabilities (hardware, network, software, telecommunications, and related services) for the support of the IT requirements of a small business.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft-based solutions to include Windows PC’s, NT servers, Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint, the Office suite of applications, and development tools (ASP.net, C#, Visual Basic, and Visual Studio).
- Relational database design and development.
- Custom software development.
- Corporate Web site and Web-based application development.
- Network design and development.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science required; Master’s in Information Technology or Masters of Business (Technical) preferred. Certification in Project Management highly preferred.
- Must have at least five years of experience in project management, full software development life cycle, and developing requirements for custom applications, as well as five years experience managing others on project development. Experiences with business process re-engineering, product development, and implementing a strategic vision are highly desired.

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Manager of Short-Term Programs with experience in program development and management as well as an appreciation for the importance of international cultural exchange. In this position you will be responsible for the research, design and implementation of a variety of short-term experiential learning programs for students and professionals, and contribute to organizational development efforts in accordance with AIPT's mission, goals, values and strategic direction. As the Manager of Short-Term Programs, you will also research and pursue opportunities to present at appropriate domestic and international student and professional conferences to further AIPT's position in the exchange community.

Position Summary
We are currently looking for a Web and Graphic Designer with superior design and development kills to enhance and maintain AIPT's website content, graphics, and printed marketing materials.The Web and Graphic Designer will have a tremendous amount of ownership and accountability for the contributions to the organization as well as working in accordance with the mission, goals, values and strategic direction of AIPT.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Web content management for all AIPT sites including aipt.org,
iaesteunitedstates.org, exchangeexplorer.org which includes, but is not limited to:
- Weekly review and documentation of site pages to ensure language meets current communications guidelines, text, listings, and downloads are most recent, and links are functional
- Use of content management system (Microsoft CMS) to edit text, post images, and add pages as necessary
- Communicates technical issues to IT and ensures resolutions
- Manages the design and production for all electronic documents including e-news and html e-mail
- Manages the design and posting of Web ads, including vendor management.
- Design and produce printed graphic design materials
- Contributes to the design and layout of custom applications developed by internal and external IT providers
