AIPT administers several scholarship funds that provide resources for Americans pursuing overseas work opportunities. The purpose of these scholarships is to help defray some of the costs associated with relocating overseas. All scholarship decisions are based on merit, and not on financial need. Applicants are encouraged to provide any information that supports their applications for these awards. While considerations for specific scholarships differ, the minimum requirements for all scholarships administered by AIPT are as follows:

  • must have been offered an overseas position,
  • must have been approved for the work permit to take up that position,
  • must be participating in an AIPT-sponsored program, and
  • must be at least 18 years old and not older than 35.
