 Community Outreach and Special Projects
During 2007, so far, we have supported 43 different organizations and charities with our outreach work!
AIPT began its Community Outreach Program in June 2006. With the help of the AIPT Volunteer Committee, Community Outreach completed numerous charitable projects and surpassed their goals for 2006.
AIPT volunteers work as a team from start to finish for each project and we are proud to say that AIPT has made a lasting impression on all the charitable organizations with whom we have worked.
AIPT stresses that even small donations of time can make a difference in our community and putting aside time for volunteer work in our daily schedule brings many rewards! To support this, as a part of the AIPT benefits package, all staff are given six volunteer days to use each year. We are thrilled to have been given the opportunity to volunteer through Community Outreach and the AIPT Volunteer Program!
Courage Lion Program
This program brings hope into the lives of sick and abused children. AIPT provides administrative support and helps to raise awareness for the program. With the help of AIPT and other institutions, the Courage Lion Program has experienced phenomenal growth. Click here to learn more.
Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen
AIPT volunteered at the Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen, serving meals to those in our community who are less fortunate. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to assist this charitable organization feed poverty-stricken people of the Baltimore area. Click here to learn more.
Global Education Initiative Program
At AIPT, we realize the importance of a good education. With the Global Education Initiative Program, our staff travel to local schools to share their international expertise with students. Presentations on featured countries are shown to classes and students are encouraged to participate. Click here to learn more.
Concession Stand Event
AIPT couldn't turn down an opportunity to raise money for a charity while spending the day at M&T Bank (Ravens) Stadium. Our staff volunteered at a concession stand with the proceeds being donated to a charitable cause. And it didn't hurt that there was a football game to watch while they worked.
