Health insurance information for American participants:
What happens if your participant has a health insurance claim through the AIPT-sponsored group health and accident plan? They should call IEES at 1-866-433-7462 (toll-free) or visit the IEES Web site at www.foreignsure.com for more information on their plan.
AIPT recommends that participants speak to their supervisor or human resources department about doctors and medical facilities in the area in which they are training. Please help them to locate a doctor before they actually need to see a doctor.
For J-1 visa program participants: if they need a referral to a doctor or health care facility, they may alsocontact MultiPlan at 800-672-2140 or visit them at www.multiplan.com/netsearch/provider_form.cfm. Using or not using MultiPlan to locate a doctor or health care facility will not affect the benefits of the IEES health insurance.
