Health Insurance Package Options for Inbound Participants

It is strongly recommended that you consider the need for medical evacuation/repatriation. If you are not adequately insured by the foreign employer, and do not have your own insurance, you may request that AIPT enroll you in its group health and accident plan which is available at a cost.

Benefits

Insurance is included in program fee.

Basic Medical - 80% of the first $6,200 of the covered expenses incurred, until a $5,000 benefit is paid.
Supplemental Major Medical - 100% of the covered expenses incurred after the Basic benefit is paid, until an additional benefit of $45,000 is paid.
Catastrophic Major Medical - 80% of the covered expenses incurred after the $45,000 Supplemental benefit is paid, up to a benefit of $100,000.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment - $50,000 per participant.
Emergency Medical Transportation (Evacuation/Repatriation) - Unlimited.
Emergency Family Airfare Expenses - $2,500.

Benefits

$375/month - covers all dependents.

Basic Medical - 80% of the covered expenses incurred, until a $5,000 benefit is paid.
Supplemental Major Medical - 80% of the covered expenses incurred after the Basic benefit is paid, until an additional benefit of $45,000 is paid.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment - $10,000 for spouse, $5,000 per child.
Repatriation of Mortal Remains - Unlimited.
Emergency Family Airfare Expenses - $2,500.
Dependents have 31 days from either entering the U.S. or marriage to secure coverage.

$7/month - covers all dependents.	Emergency Medical Transportation (Evacuation/Repatriation) - Unlimited. Repatriation of Mortal Remains - Unlimited. Emergency Family Airfare Expenses - Unlimited (if hospitalized for 3 days).

NOTE: All medical evacuation, repatriation, and family airfare benefits require prior approval from IEES and MEDEX Assistance Company.

All medical benefits are on a per illness per injury basis. Please refer to the policy brochure for a complete list of limitations and exclusions and other provisions, such as deductable, co-payment, and definitions.
