
Hyun ChulHyun Chul hopes to pursue a career in tourism. With proficiency in several languages, he is well on his way to meeting his professional objectives. During his internship in the United States, he hopes to learn more about the American corporate culture and to view the world from many different perspectives. Hyun Chul believes that his experience in the WEST program will help him to meet his personal and professional goals.
Min-Jung Min-Jung is currently enrolled in a vigorous double major program at Hanyang University. She currently holds a 4.0/4.5 G.P.A in English Language and Culture as well as in Public Relations. Min-Jung is passionate about the English language and is excited to tackle the challenges brought forth by an internship in the United States. Following her experience with the WEST program, she hopes to complete her undergraduate degree and continue on to a successful career in a top global corporation.
WonhoWonho is a recent graduate of Pyeongtaek University in Pyeongtaek City, South Korea. He was successful in obtaining a prestigious internship with the United States Army in Korea. During that time he assisted in instructing US soldiers of the cultural differences between the United States and South Korea. He is hopeful to continue his study of American Culture by not only participating in the WEST program but also by broadening his understanding of US governmental policies. Wonho is hopeful that the successful completion of this internship will expand his knowledge of US culture and enable him to reach his full potential.
Gi EunGi Eun has high aspirations to become a diplomat. She is confident that her experience with the WEST program will offer her many opportunities for professional and personal growth. Following the successful completion of the American internship, she plans to complete her undergraduate degree and pursue graduate studies in law. She also comes highly recommended by her English Language and Literature Professor who believes Gi Eun will make positive contributions to the WEST program.
Ji EunJi Eun is currently a student at one of the top women’s universities in South Korea. She is hopeful that the WEST program will provide her not only with a better understanding of American Culture but also with a more thorough understanding of American business and trading. Upon completion of the internship program, Ji Eun is excited about completing her undergraduate degree and seeking opportunities in business and global trade.
Kwang HeeKwang Hee comes highly recommended by his English professor at Chung-Nam University. According to his professor, Kwang Hee has been awarded several English language-related awards, demonstrated strong leadership abilities and has excellent interpersonal skills. Kwang Hee is passionate about environmental issues and hopes to utilize his skills to raise environmental awareness in South Korea. He believes the WEST program will not only enhance his English skills but also help him to develop as a global citizen. SangwonSangwon is currently working towards his Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature. He shows a great deal of enthusiasm not only towards the WEST program but also for his pursuit of a career in advertising. He is confident that an internship in the United States will allow him to experience American culture and give him a jump-start on his career. Sangwon also comes highly recommended by his English professor. After the successful completion of the WEST program, Sangwon plans to complete his undergraduate program and continue on in the world of global advertisement. Hyun Jin has been a member of the Global Trade Experts Incubating Program, administered by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, South Korea, where she has gained valuable experience working with foreign buyers in the electronic export business.
