Eun JiEun Ji

Eun Ji is a student at one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea.  She has gained valuable experience producing television programs and events for Wonkwang University.  Eun Ji comes very highly recommended by president of Wonkwang University who remarked on her stellar academic and interpersonal skills.  She is excited about facing the new challenges ahead of her in the United States and putting her theoretical knowledge into practice.  She is looking forward to the next step in her career.  She believes her participation in the Korea WEST program will help her to reach her full potential. 

Se-miSe-mi

Se-mi is currently enrolled in Dong-A University with a major in Communications and a minor in Business Administration.  She has a passion for both cooking and marketing and is hopeful to incorporate both into a lifetime career.  She is confident that the WEST program will allow her to blend her marketing and hospitality knowledge with experience to obtain a position within a Korean Food Corporation.  Se-mi also comes highly recommended by her Communications professor who noted Se-mi’s academic achievements and excellent interpersonal skills.

 

Jin MinJin Min

Although still an undergraduate student, Jin Min has had extensive international experience.  Since January 2009, she has served as an intern for the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, South Korea.  In this capacity, she serves many important functions, including helping to organize community events and publish the newsletter, “The Chosun Ilbo.”  Jin Min has also visited Washington D.C. to participate in the Washington Leadership Program, providing an invaluable opportunity for Sookmyung students to meet outstanding American leaders.  Jin Min believes the WEST program will allow her to reach her full potential.  She will be an asset to any organization!

JuyeJuye

Juye comes highly recommended by her Media Studies professor.  Her professor not only highlighted Juye’s academic abilities, but also noted her enthusiasm for learning in class.  Her professor shared some of Juye’s many accomplishments, including winning the first prize in a digital video contest.  Juye believes that her experience in the WEST program will enhance her intercultural skills.  She is confident that this experience will give her a competitive advantage by improving her English skills.  Juye is very excited about her upcoming adventures in the United States!
