Myung Jin
Attending one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea, Myung Jin has high aspirations to pursue a career with the Korean government. He feels that in order to function in an ever-connected world, one must be open-minded and understanding of cultural differences. The Korea WEST program will give him the experience that will help him in his future career and to improve his English skills. His International Studies professor at Hanyang University places Myung Jin at top 5% of all the students in the International Studies program.
Suhl
A student at one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea, Suhl is also very interested in other cultures. She has visited more than 15 countries in Europe and Asia. Suhl feels that in order to function in an ever-connected world, one must be open-minded and understanding of cultural differences. She has high aspirations to work for a NGO or in international trade. The Korea WEST program will give her the experience necessary to help her develop her full potential.
Hyeon Yunn
Hyeon Yunn is currently a student at one of the top universities in South Korea. She is interested in international business and believes an internship opportunity in the United States will better prepare her for an international career. In particular, she believes an internship experience in an American organization will enhance her knowledge of business culture and improve her English skills. Hyeon Yunn is eager to move forward in this field. Hyeon Yunn also comes highly recommended by her professor who noted her as a “dedicated, competent, and hard-working student.”
