AIPT connects certified international teachers with U.S. schools that have a growing need for them, while enabling school systems to continue focusing on student education, rather than on the complexities of visa sponsorship.

AIPT Teach USA® is a new program providing U.S. schools with highly-skilled teachers for a three-year teaching position through the J-1 Teacher visa.

With more than 55 years of experience offering a comprehensive array of J-1 visa programs and services for exchange visitors coming to the United States, as well as for Americans seeking opportunities abroad, AIPT is a powerful partner able to meet the needs of U.S. schools and international teachers through this incredible program.

AIPT sponsors and supports its teacher participants:

• Complete management of federal reporting requirements, including documenting arrival information in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) database and keeping in touch with participants to ensure that their contact information in the database is kept current.
• Pre-arrival information package, with information about travel and entry into the United States, the purpose of the exchange visitor program, the J-1 visa regulations, American culture, teacher program description and guidelines, housing, taxes, and insurance, as well as resources for social activities and professional organizations in the region in which the teacher will reside.
• Arrival orientations given by AIPT staff at designated gateway cities.
• Emergency telephone number that can be called at anytime to reach AIPT
• Periodic events for participants, such as trips to Las Vegas or Washington, DC, that blend educational content and fun tourist activities.
