Program Specialist - (6 month position)

AIPT is a not-for-profit organization driven to enhance mutual understanding between cultures through work-based and/or educational settings for students and professionals. We are seeking someone to support two of our many programs (KoreaWEST and Global Career Launch). In this position you will learn how both of these programs run while providing support in the following manner:

• Assist in providing guidance, advice and support to Asian students
• Assist in the coordination of placing student into work setting
• Organize materials for pre-departure, orientation, language schools

Skills, Experience, Education & Ability

• Experience working with Asian students highly preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Professional demeanor
• Able to support programs within regulatory guidelines
• Team player, able to collaborate, take initiative and be resourceful
• Exceptional customer service orientation
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Good prioritization and organizational skills
• Self-motivation
• Able to speak, read and write Korean highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in international studies, international relations, etc., preferred
